About
I'm Jim. I live on the Welsh border and I walk, mostly in Wales, mostly the quiet ways up, often with a tent. Somewhere along the line I started carrying a camera and talking to it as if a friend were walking next to me, and that's exactly what the films are: no narrator, no drama, just the walk and whatever the hill turns out to be hiding.
And they're all hiding something. A crashed bomber. A reservoir finished by conscientious objectors when the war took the navvies. A four-thousand-year-old funeral. The routes are chosen for the story as much as the summit, and it's usually the path nobody takes from the car park.
▢ Draft copy for Jim to make his own. It should sound like the sign-offs do.
